After nearly eight years conducting photo sessions in more than a dozen countries, Tribe of Diamonds now has a dedicated studio space in Northern Colorado!
The Tribe of Diamonds Studio is located in central Fort Collins near the intersection of Drake Rd and Stover St. Sessions are by appointment only.
You don't need to choose your backdrops. You don't need to worry about the backdrops. No one is really that conscious of the backdrops, and to the extent that they are... I got it.
But here they are, anyway. Some of them.
We use a wide variety of backdrops in the studio, and are adding more all of the time. We will select the backdrops that we feel best suit both the vibe you desire and the clothing you are wearing. For those who just like to know what is available beforehand, following is a sampling of what we currently have ready in the studio space.
The Brown One
This is my go-to backdrop with most people. In fact, this is one of only TWO backdrops that travel with me when I am circling the globe. The other one is gray, and I use it only rarely. This backdrop works amazingly well with all skin-tones.
The Gray One
This is the other backdrop that travels the world with me. It's also quite versatile, and like the brown one, can be lit in such a way to create a range down to nearly black, or to vary the warmth or coolness.
The Green Wallpaper One
It doesn't work for everyone, but when it works, it's quite fun.
The Blue One
This is a pretty heavenly blue that works with most people, especially if you have blue eyes or a favorite blue outfit.
The Fall Colors One
This fun backdrop is great and works with most skin-tones.
The Blue-Green Rain One
This one doesn't work with every skin-tone, but when it works, it's pretty cool.
The Mottled Brown One
This backdrop is slightly cooler than the usual brown one I use, with hints of green and blue mixed in.
The Black One and the White One
Solid Black and Solid White is about as simple as it gets. White backgrounds can be used to create just about any shade of gray, as well.
